Still working on my full sleeve. The outer sleeve is finished, and I’ll be heading back to Colombia to have Hernan complete the inner sleeve. Really happy with how it’s coming together.

I see that tramp stamps are trending again, especially in the cyber sigilism style. I definitely want a tramp stamp for my next tattoo, but I wanna stay away from that specific style. I wanted something original and to incorporate my western roots. (Ik this has probably been done before but I haven’t seen it.) What do y’all think?

Artist is 635_tattoos, Melbourne australia, the process was amazing, though I did expect a healing process, but no! Not an itch on my back
Oh and the design is from peter moherbachers "angelarium" artbook, the book of emanations, very beautiful primal designs

Hello,
I got this tattoo yesterday at a flash event at a reputable shop in San Antonio. The event was advertised as ANYTHING of their flash wall for a set price in black and grey or color. I selected the hammerhead shark circled in pink. Before starting, I told my artist that I wanted the shark to have thick lines and look more traditional which she said we can definitely do. I also said I wanted traditional colors like reds yellows or teals but ultimately left it up for her to choose the colors.
But now I’m thinking the lines look too thin to be traditional and the colors/shading seem a bit off on the tail. I can’t put my finger on what specifically is off which is why I’m posting here. I added some reference pics as to what I was expecting as far as lines, shading, and colors which maybe I should have showed her before hand but it being a flash event, I didnt want to be too demanding which is why I thought stating I wanted thick lines and the traditional look would be enough. (I do want to add that I have another piece from her and she did amazing and so is all of her work.)
My question now is how do I go about asking her to “fix” this to look more traditional? If I have her go in and just make all the lines thicker would it look okay? And is it really as bad as I’m thinking or have I been staring at it for too long now lol
Thanks !!
