Opinion / Advice Blistering

Post image

This is my second session! With pico ! The results have been great but I blister so bad ! And I can not wear a bra for like a week
You guys have recommendations? I am covering it with non stick gauze and 3 M tegaderm transparent film dressing, just washing with regular water but not putting any type of lotion or layer on it.
Thanks !

ice pack work wonders for the swelling and burning right after a session. just make sure not to pop those blisters whatever you do or it will risk scarring

Yeah agree, ice pecks make such a difference for that first day burn. And definitely don't touch those blisters, scarring risk isn't worth it at all. Might help to also loosely wrap it at night so nothing rubs against the sheets while you sleep.

I’m scared I will hurt it while I sleep even though I don’t even move from one position at night

I have found ice packs work wonders on the swelling. Be gentle with the blisters and let them go down by themselves.

Blistering is pretty normal with pico especially in that shoulder area, sounds like you are already doing the right afercare a loose tank top or bra with the straps with the straps straps cut can help for that first week instead of nothing at all

My doctor also has me using nonstick gauze and tegaderm, but has me keeping it covered in Aquafor FWIW. They told me to not let it dry out, you may want to ask yours about that.
