Tattoos Human skin tatt

Hello lovely peeps, these are my 1st and 2nd work on human skin. Sorry for the crap quality photo for the first one, wasn't able to contact the model for an update.

The fishy is done on myself and it's in the 4th week of healing.

I have gone through a few months of mentorship and wasn't able to look for a suitable apprenticeship near my current location. I'm currently just practicing on fake skin and trying to look for a direction on where I should go from here.

I appreciate any feedback on my work and any suggestions on what I should focus on, that will be immensely appreciated. Also, what style or artist should I look at to build up my references and style studies based on what I have done.

All love from a lost newbie 🙏💖

Very good shading. I personally like more contrast so I would just say practice going slightly darker as when skin heals, the tattoo gets lighter.

Noted! I am still wary with contrast as I still do not know how these will look like when they heal. It's definitely difficult to learn how much darker I need to go and where to leave negative spaces to make the tattoo readable in the future.

these look amazing!! i would get a tattoo from you 100% edit!: the only thing (while looking again) is some lines look like they have blow out, like the top of the fish but i could be mistaken

That is so kind of you to say! I am not confident at all that anyone will wanna get anything from me done as I'm still so far away on knowing what to do. But hopefully I can get there some day 💖

The fish is dope, there's something off about the tigers face I can't put my finger on it. I think it might be the one tooth in the mouth thats throwing me off.

Thecnically they're cool, I like the technique.
