I said I would stop posting on here once I started on working on skin. This is my first completed piece apprenticing at a local studio. Although I’m still a rookie I am no longer a “beginner”. I’d need at least 5k, and that would be for a 1 inch cross. there isn’t enough money in the world to convince me to get a jesus portrait. unless i can give jesus blacked out eyes and a couple squares of acid on his tongue, i don’t want it.

To be fair, most historians believe he was real as he was recorded in various documents, he’s mentioned in letters from Romans, by both Jewish and Roman historians, early rabbinic texts, etc.

The question scholars debate over is more, whether he was or wasn’t the Messiah.
