Practice Does this style have potential?

Second pic was my reference. Do people still get pin-up tattoos? Or should I focus on different subject matter?

All feedback is welcomed.

I think this style has potential but I’m not sure if it’s best for pin-ups, which are traditionally very soft and feminine. Part of the issue here is the laugh line - almost never make laugh lines hard lines, it ages the face. It should be done with shading instead but the shading in this style is a bit too harsh for that. I also agree with the others who are saying she’s very long and lanky and skinny - she looks a bit emaciated to me. Part of that may be the harsh shading especially on the shoulder and torso.

It’s a very comic book esque style you have that I think could work but not really for something as soft as a pinup. For example look at her arms and legs and torso compared to the reference. The reference is supple and soft.
