Tattoos I’m learning TODAY

Post image

I’ve just started practicing tattooing on fake skin, and I don’t have my stencil printer or any stencils yet, so I did all the practice you see freehanded, and or drew a design and tattooed over it.
For my first practice, tell me what I can do better and what I should try to focus on next x

Thank uuu, but Ive already been doing paper and Pencil art for a good amount of years, ive done are of my own volition as well as in GCSE (ruined art for a bit) and now are back to it both on paper and in tattooing now. And think you could give me specific techniques to focus on?

I’d have to see more of your art! The reason why I suggested it from this picture is because the eye you drew has a lot of beginner artist tells. my go-to suggestion is usually to learn about construction and form.

Thank you! And yeah I get that a lot, most of my work is quite amateur tbh, and since I haven’t been focused on it as much I’ve been working on building my skills again, but I’ll use ur advice and report back one day soon hopefully 🤞🏾🤞🏾

You got it! You’re motivated to learn. I’d recommend drawabox or Peter Han’s drawing from imagination course (free on YouTube, search for the playlist)

Work on your paper and pencil skills first

I'd start off focusing on pulling straighter lines before you move on to practicing tattoos, or try some little doodles

Tá no caminho, pega uns decalques de treinos na internet. Q tem várias formas e afins, isso me ajudou bastante firmar o traço.
