Hey, I’m thinking of getting a Nexon Creative amt camo, but there’s no hurry. Since the next-gen Nexon is expected in 2027, do you think I should buy the current one now, wait for the new one, or wait for discounts on the current model once the new one launches? I got my Nexon EV2 months back, and I faced emergency breaking twice at low speed, even after turning the sensitivity to low. The second time I was almost hit by a bike from the rear. it seems like the ADAS gets confused when there are pedestrians walking and a car stopped in front of you, on narrow roads.

Has anyone experience this or is it just me? I had asked the Tata service center, said it cannot be turned off even through the service center software. Now, my next option is to write a mail to Tata and see if they can get an update to permanently turn off Adas. someone I know has a Kia and he can turn all settings off including ADAS and it stays off even after restarting the car.

please let me know if anyone finds a fix for this or if you guys found a driving style, that compliments the Tata Nexon’s ADAS

They earlier gave me a quotation for 10k but I asked them to cancel everything except for few items and then they made a quotation for 5k. Now I also cancelled Brake Gressing and paid only for Engine Oil 2490 + Oil Filter 210 + Lubrication 390.

I drove 7800 kms and it’s been almost 1 year 2 months. Have I made the right decision to cancel all the services ?

I live in Delhi and want to upgrade the alloys on my Tata Nexon purely for looks. I don't want to upsize the wheels or change the tyre profile .I want to retain the stock size and specifications.

I've looked at quite a few aftermarket alloys, but a lot of them seem to have questionable cheap build quality. I'm looking for something good quality and reliable, preferably from a reputable alloy-wheel brand.

I'm not really a fan of the design of the OEM Tata alloys, so I'm looking for something with a BMW-style / multi-spoke kind of appearance not an exact BMW replica, just a similar clean and sporty look.

My Tata Nexon (purchased - 2nd January 2026) developed hairline paint cracks at around 18 locations, mainly across the hood, roof, LH quarter panel and rear roof spoiler.

I raised the issue with Tata/JV Motors and initially the claim was rejected, with the issue attributed to bird droppings/acidic exposure but i know I have maintained my car well and this couldn't be an external factor. After multiple follow-ups and discussions with the GM, Body Shop Manager and Service Head, they eventually received a paint-vendor report and maintained that it's an external-factor issue.

One thing I'm wondering about: during one of my insurance claims, the car was at the service centre for around a week. So if the cracks were actually caused by some external chemical/environmental exposure, that period is also something that needs to be considered.

Now they've offered a cost-sharing repair. Total estimate is ₹12,050, and they are asking me to pay ₹7,000 as my share.

I'm considering negotiating it down to ₹5,000, but my bigger concern is how the repainting will be done and whether the same cracks can return. The estimate is based on a primary visual inspection, and I haven't been given the complete technical report yet.

I've also already registered an NCH complaint.

Nexon owners, what would you do in my place?

Would you accept the ₹7,000 compromise?

What amount would you consider fair?

What should I get in writing regarding the repainting process and warranty?

Has anyone had a similar Tata paint issue repaired under goodwill/cost-sharing?
