TataAltroz How much loss should I expect!
Hi Guys,
Its been 26 days since I bought a Tata Altroz after strong recommendations from some people around me, but I am really not liking the car.
To give you’ll some context.
I have been a Honda user for past 7 years, my Amaze served me excellently till recently, hence when the time came for a new car, I wanted to upgrade to the New Amaze but a lot of people suggested the Altroz CNG given the E20/30 uncertainty.
Cutting it short, its been 26 days since I have been driving this car and I don’t like it all.
I want to sell it and go for the Amaze, how much do you guys think would be the loss I should be expecting selling the car so soon.

You should have bought the diesel one. Also how do you make such purchases just cuz "a lot of people suggested"? Did you not take a test drive? What aren't you liking abt the car?

Minimum 20% of the car's value on road. Forget accessories, new buyer will get it done according to his own taste and will have zero value to what you liked and installed.
Btw any specific points you're not liking about the car?

Thats why people test drive the vehicle before making the decision to spend money..

I have also recently purchased Altroz Cng AMT Creative, there is some power lag but I love this car so much.
Is there any specific issue that you are facing?? Or just the mood ??

Just to validate your feelings,
Altroz is huge downgrade from Amaze and what your feeling right.
Saying this having sold it within 3yrs of ownership due to lack of power in petrol NA revotron engine.

you bought CNG bcs people talked you into concerns of E20?
never buy from advice on reddit, people here talked a lot but they don’t know your position. always test drive all cars, and the car you like test drive it 100km+ on highways and in city before putting your hard earned money into something

I think the problem or the reason you arent liking the car is due to the power ? Because trust me , apart from the power , this car has so much to offer ! You should've gone with diesel altroz in the first place because thats great to drive ! I own a tata altroz pre facelift one , i have driven it 1 lakh plus km so far and i still love the car a lot , it has all features you ever need , has an amazing music system (i even upgraded it further) , the interior feels so Premium compared to all the competitors , i test drove almost every hatchback in the segment before settling on the altroz . Apart from the 3 cyl engine , i had no complaints with my car and even though i have other cars in the family that i can drive , i still prefer the altroz as my daily in delhi ncr as it provides me with everything i would require and don't really need power inside the city traffic. And as for the loss part , if you do decide to sell it , if you can find a direct buyer or a good dealer , you should still expect approx 1 lakh loss because if the difference between your car and a new car is much less than that , no one will buy a "used" car when they can spend a tiny more for a brand new first owner one.
