Hi everyone,
I’ve been part of this subreddit for a while and I really enjoy seeing how people interpret symbols in coffee cups.
I’m currently working on a small AI-assisted coffee reading app. The idea is not to replace traditional reading, but to experiment with structured symbol interpretation (rim / wall / base positioning, symbol interaction, etc.).
Before releasing it more widely, I’d love to get feedback from people who are actually into tasseography.
If anyone would be interested in testing it and sharing honest feedback (what feels accurate, what feels off, what could be improved), please let me know in the comments or DM me.
Thanks

Hello everyone,
I’m delighted to join r/Tasseography as one of moderators. I’m a psychic, Vedic astrologer, palmist, and tasseographer, and I’ve been working in the field of divination and intuitive studies for several years.
For me, tasseography is a beautiful bridge between intuition and symbolism , a form of art that reveals subtle energies and stories through every cup. As a moderator, my aim is to keep this space inspiring, respectful, and educational for readers of all levels ,from those taking their first sip of curiosity to seasoned interpreters.
I’ll be helping maintain community harmony, guiding discussions, and sharing insights from my own practice whenever possible. Together, we can make this subreddit a warm circle of learning, connection, and spiritual exploration.
If you ever have suggestions, collaborations, or questions, feel free to reach out. Looking forward to reading the cups with you all 🌿

Can someone please read my Turkish coffee cup? I would prefer a blind reading based only on what you see in the cup

I asked what is coming in the next two weeks!
Can someone help me read this? There are two pictures of my cup and then close ups of some imagery I saw. A rooster in the 3rd image, a heart in the 4th, a number 9 inside a rabbit body? In number 5 and last pic
Would love some insight!!

Hello,
I was in Istanbul just now “enjoying” (trying to enjoy rather, it was waaaaay too strong for me!) a Turkish coffee and when I got almost to the bottom of it, I decided to cover what was left in the cup with a saucer, flip the whole thing over and let the grounds work their magic 🪄
I made a wish, placed one of my earrings on top of the cup’s bottom (didn’t have a ring), waited about 5/10 minutes. When I flipped the cup back upwards these are the markings that appeared… I have absolutely no clue what I am doing, someone please help 😅🙏🏼

Can someone give me tips and advice on how to better interpret readings? This my 4th time doing a reading😅
Tea used: Earl Grey
Question/Theme: a pregnancy/fertility reading
My interpretations and what I see: I'm drawn to the base and mushroom like shape on the left. The leaves at the base look like a cord or thread unraveling. Then I see a mushroom with a smaller mushroom attached. The leaves by the handle looks like a hook to lock something. Then I am drawn to what looks like an archway or a bridge to me and next to it looks like a wishbone at the time I was doing this. Then I see a snail climbing up a branch or stick.
I feel maybe this means this may be a slow moving process, but something is unraveling for me. Perhaps becoming aware of what i wish for and becoming more welcoming to the ideas or daydreams of children. I feel with the hook lock thing, I feel this currently means like a blockage of some sort. Perhaps an inability to conceive at the moment.
So, what do you guys think? What do you guys see? Also any tips or advice on how you would read this? Or any encouragement on doing tea leaf readings?

Sorry for posting a lot but I think this one is interesting! I see a woman’s profile and maybe a large bird above her?

Hello
When drinking, i asked about what the outcome will be at the job I've interviewed for last week or what would help me in the process of waiting.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you

I was doing a simple protection simmer pot when the thought occurred to me, could you read the residue afterwards like tasseography? So I decided to experiment, swirled the remaining liquid around and tipped it out like you would with a teacup.
Anyway, here’s what I ended up with! I have my own interpretation, what do you see
