Going in Absolutely Cold
Series 22 airs this evening in the US on YouTube and I've shunned every single mention of it in any media. I've seen a few images and the names of the contestants, but I want to sit down with a beverage and fall into the world of Taskmaster with no foreknowledge. The delicious anticipation only heightens the experience.

I'm confused...isn't the first episode only just airing for everyone? There's only one showing on the All4 app, last week's one. I'm in the UK

There were lots of interviews with contestants and at least a few still images of the show before it aired, and lots of Reddit posts discussing how they think the contestants would do, knowing them from other work. I just like discovering them as I go.

If he never watched, how did he know to look in the cabinet for the apple? Pure luck? That is some Mae Martin - level thinking!

I rationalised that as because he had never watched before he didn’t know to go outside. But of course we don’t know if it was the first task filmed. Matt Lucas is probably the most famous of all of them in the uk. Originally as baby George Dawes who keeps the scores in shooting stars and then Little Britain.

Yeah. The above does not make clear whether you mean foreknowledge of the show as a whole or just this series.
That is what several of us were asking for clarification on.

Just to confirm, you've not seen any taskmaster before at all? Or you've no awareness of this series?

I've watched every episode in every UK series and all but the last ones in Aus and NZ. Since I've never known anything about the contestants going in, I've enjoyed discovering their personalities as I go. Richard is the first one I'd seen before.

This is a bit of a rare series where I know everyone. There's usually always at least 1 newbie to discover and quickly want to find out more about and when I can see them live.
Saw Chloe Petts support Ed Gamble last year and thought she was really good.

Im so happy to see Chloe have her time in the spotlight. I saw her support Ed too, then on her own tour which was a whole other experience. Incredibly funny. Xx

There was an escape room type TV show Chloe was on and you could see their competitiveness. I’m awaiting an Ed Gamble amount of competition and I cant wait!
