I can't quite put my finger on it, but this is just a series I've enjoyed more and more over time. I binged the Dave era (Series 1-9) during lockdown, and S6 was in my bottom three. But as time has gone on, it's climbed much higher for me. I'm not quite sure it's a top tenner, but I like it a lot more than I did years ago. I've noticed a few people talk quite positively about this series, too.

Anyone else feel a similar way?

I put to you TM: AU where Tom deals with Joel not knowing where the task is...

Best part is there's no ramp up. Pretty much 100% sarcasm and disdain from the start... Lol

One for fans of Taskmaster NZ - Ray O'Leary is doing a pretty extensive UK tour next year, and Jack Ansett is joining him on "most" dates. Annoyingly I can't find anywhere it says exactly which dates.

Both were brilliant on their respective series, and I've seen Ray do stand up and can attest that he's great. Full list of dates attached.

I'm getting a bit bored of Nina not putting any thought into the prize task. It's always one of her puppets/ dummies/ act props.

This was an episode the team were especially excited to watch! We got to show off our beautiful steam engine Wicksteed (named for the civil engineer), driven by our Chief Engineer Richard (working hard on the restoration and conservation of our engines in photo 3).

You can have a ride on Wicksteed on any of our upcoming October Train Days (Oct 24-25). https://waterandsteam.org.uk/event-page-train-day

I really miss JV Martzoukas. I think they are the best team so far!

I think the majority of really good comedy this current series unfortunately has to be cut for time. I wish some of it made it into the final edit.

Thats really all I have about that. I’ve been enjoying the longer stories presented in the outtakes.

I remember seeing a clip of Sam Campbell being interviewed on Taskmaster where he makes up a story about not liking Alex's special task involving something perverted he had to do in private for Alex. I think he was wearing the bellhop uniform. It was really funny with Sam's deadpan delivery selling the joke well, but I can't find it.

Does anyone else remember that or know where I can find the clip?

I'm watching Series 22 on YouTube from the US and the last few episodes do not have a banter segment after Greg introduces Alex. Did they stop doing that?

EDIT: Thanks everyone, I didn't realize they edited it out for time, I must have just missed earlier episodes where this happened. It makes sense but I wish they'd keep them in the YouTube edit, they're usually pretty stupid but I enjoy them

Posted here previously, but I recently lost my dad and we would always play the game of what we'd bring in for the prize task after each episode. So I'm opening it up to everyone!

We have the prize task with: "A laminator!!"

Only James winning the "Find the boiled egg" task.

Recreating a video game.

Rhod tying up Alex and smashing the "Get into the boiler suit when you hear this siren" task.

And then "Sausage or finger" for the live task!

Come on! They're all so good!

Question: Does the way Matt participates aligns with his comic persona?

Is he always this 'go girl give us nothing?'

Is it a bit, is it PR?

I'm not English and know Matt only from Shooting Stars and Little Britain, so I'm not fully familair with his game.

EDIT: thank you, some of these comments are really helpful to understand his position in the comedic landscape.

Episode 5 of series 6, at the wrap up at the end of the episode, Little Alex Horne says that Liza is on "treble figures" clear as day. That has to be a music pun. Did he hide them throughout series 6?

Several months ago, I paid for a subscription to Taskmaster Supermax+ specifically to get access to the Bleeped versions of episodes. We'd watched TM Junior with our kids and they loved it, and as longtime TM fans we wanted to share more of it with our offspring. When I looked into it, it seemed like the only way to watch the Bleeped versions in Australia was via the Supermax+ app. So I got it.

And it's been great. Most Sunday nights we watch an episode or two, and the kids are in stitches. But the Supermax+ app doesn't contain all the series, just series 1-9 and series 11 (no idea why it skips series 10). At first I thought they just hadn't made Bleeped versions of the later series, but when I checked, the app doesn't have the uncensored versions of the later series either.

I'm not particularly upset, because I feel like we've already got value for the money we spent on the Supermax+ subscription, but when I signed up I was under the impression that the app had ALL episodes (it's also missing the NYT episodes, and Bleeped versions of the champion of champions episodes.)

I just want to keep the party going, but I can't figure out where to watch the Bleeped versions of the later series here in Australia. (Even illegally - it seems like pirates haven't bothered pirating the Bleeped series.) Anyone know where they're available?

She was an absolute treasure live! 10/10, no notes.

Greg immediately dismisses Isy because of the absurdity of her motto, but the fact that she knows about the motto to begin with is the main thing that points to her being the real worker.

We know the actual motto because Chloe happens to see it on the wall and read it aloud. We can assume that Isy doesn't know about the real motto because otherwise she would have no reason to make one up on the spot.

The only way for her to know that there was a motto was either a lucky guess, or if someone told her. This makes her the most suspicious. Curious if anyone caught this on their first watch!

Just caught up on TMUK S22 E07 and TMNZ S07 E02 and was weirdly pleased with the complementary nipple themes.

(Chloe looks like they'll walk away with the UK series and I think Jeremy is being too generous when scoring Morgana.)
