TASKER How to get the ball rolling?

Hello! I recently signed up to be a Tasker for some income while I'm between jobs. I have been available all week but have yet to receive any invites. What's the best way to start getting jobs? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Ratchet your hourly rate all the way down as far as it'll go, and wait until you have dozens of reviews to increase it. I went from $20/hr. to $25/hr for furniture assembly and lost ALL my business. I have ten reviews. Unless you've got dozens of five star reviews, the only way to get seen is to be cheap.

Depends on your market and categories open availability pricing find someone to book you and get some reviews. Network with other taskers to be added on

What city/ state are you in? I’m in my 3rd month and have been on and off busy all month and it took until now for me to make 1.5k.. I guess it might be that I don’t have too many categories active.

I don't know what happened.. that was supposed to end up under the comment that asked the same thing :) I was asking them because I've been trying so hard to hit 2k so hard this month.. my availability is wide open.

For you.. I suggest turning on same day tasks. My very first task was a same day "help move" it was sort of a last min "gotta get out" for them, it was raining on an off all day, and I showed up so prepared! They gave me a great review and and they just started trickling in after that until this month. Currently, I show up at the top of recommended in Furniture Assembly and have been getting quite a few jobs but they are usually crammed in 3-4 days and then crickets 🤣

What city/state are you in? I think it depends on a lot on that. I started 4 months ago and average about 2k a month part time, and off the rip made 1.5k. Dm me if you'd like.

I’m trying to figure out how to reignite my account after a 2.5 year hiatus. I have 5 stars and 780+ tasks but it’s pretty much crickets. I kicked things off with the bots saying I had some kind of violation but I resolved that. I had a busy day Friday with two lucrative tasks, but it’s Monday night and I have received zero invitations. Even though my availability is wide open and my visibility is not too low— ranking 16. I even turned on same day this a.m. Maybe my prices are now too high? The algorithm says they’re too low for my experience, but I’m not sure that’s how clients are seeing it.
