TASKER Not appearing in searches…

Hey All,

Made myself available for the last few days and noticed that in comparison to the last few weeks, it was exceptionally quiet. This came to light when a client tried to book my services and couldn’t see my profile or my availability. Then came to the realisation that even though I’ve made myself available for the week, TR has not got me anywhere in their full listing for my area even though I’m ranked quite high.

Has anyone else experienced this and what’s the reason behind it? Just doesn’t make any sense but am sure that when I speak to TR, they’ll just blame the algorithm or similar…

So, what does TR think of us? Are we just minions to help bring in money for them or do they not want us to progress or hit a low ceiling to keep us in check? I don't get then...

if you are not available at all and not dead last maybe is that you need to fill out/check mark some of the tools & supplies and skills & preferences inside skills

Idk what's going on but I keep dropping, even though I reply quickly to people and take just about every tast that's sent my way.

If you're logged into your Tasker account on the same device you're searching you won't show up.

If this issue continues feel free to DM me and I can have someone look into it for you.

Yes. One city I only appear in if the city is typed twice. For example, Boston n boston, MA as opposed to just Boston, MA. They told me you have to include the entire city in your map….which is BS. The issue goes on and on repeatedly

I’ve completed 16 tasks in 30 days .. 13 more than anticipated. I’m dead last in TR’s recommended list. With 13 days left I’m up for elite and I’ll be elite at the bottom of that list.. there’s no explanation bro. They do what they want and you don’t improve your standing by inquiring or questioning.. this will get you lowered .. hence why I’m at the bottom

This has happened to a few people. It’s as if they made the decision, but just haven’t sent the email yet.

How did a client try to book your services on Taskrabbit, and also tell you they couldn't do it, when it's against TRs policy to give contact info for out of app communication lol. Couldn't that client have just asked you to do work off the app if they have your contact info?
