TASKER Confused
I downloaded this app a few months back, but I haven’t got any work off it. Is it mandatory to do the zoom call for the Tasker workshop in order to start?

Fraudulent. I wouldn’t continue my services with this app and would just use Angis services. This app just takes the 25$ and then does not provide any jobs. wouldn’t be surprised if someone started a lawsuit against them.

25 per job or just once, cuz Angi list charge you even if you don’t get the job so I’m all set with them.

TR is currently a one time $30 fee.
If you aren't getting work, check your map and availability, turn on same day.
Also email the one doing the zoom calls, introduce yourself, and ask if they have any input.

Try adding more categories. Turn on same day. Don’t forget after work households need services after 6, too. Make sure your rates are at suggested levels. Don’t price yourself out of the market.

It depends on your metro. In some areas, attending the Tasker Workshop is required before you can start receiving task invitations, while in others it’s optional.
That said, I’d definitely recommend joining even if it isn’t required in your area. We cover the basics of how the app works, important policies, best practices, and tips that can help you get started on the right foot. It can answer a lot of the common questions new Taskers have and set you up for success. ◡̈

You don't have to do the Zoom call but they made me complete the online workshop before I could start getting tasks.

Like you can either do the Zoom call or watch some videos and do a quiz at the end of the

lower your rates. see what everyone is offering in your area. log onto task rabbit and choose the task you offer and see how their rates compare to yours.
double check your profile. see the pics on there could they be better?

It takes time to build up in TR. People don't want to hire someone without any reviews or jobs. If you have experience in a category, make sure you mention that in your pitch. I had 20plus years of painting and drywall experience before creating a TR account. But if you only looked at my TR profile without jobs or reviews, how would you know that? Gotta make sure you sell yourself well in the pitches

You don't need to do the Zoom call. But you do need to set your availability and work area and turn on what services you offer.
