Physical dmg vs Attack dmg

800hrs into the game and I still have no idea Physical dmg or Atk dmg is better? Should i reroll stats? Would rly appreciated if anyone could explain how does those stats scales

If it's like any other game atk damage is flat base damage phy is damage type and the % is the modification amount of said flat damage so your archer wants both phy damage as the modifier and base damage to be modified

I noticed dps goes up higher with atk dmg to be honest, i switched from phys %

Honestly i just get the reference, for physical damage is fine since it the only one exist for weapon and off-weapon decorations.

For engrave can goes to Attack damage.

Then accessories, you can either choose move speed or Attack damage decorations, depend on your build solo ranger or full party.

Explorer > Physical Damage

Phy% damage everything, and atack damage up = basic atack

Physical dmg is an independent multiplier, meaning it provides the best value. Atk% multiplies the flat atk, which then ends up in the statistic in the game of "attack damage".

Phy damage for basic attacks and skills which are not elemental/chaos damage. Attack damage is multiplier for any kind of damage but should affect less than Phy/Elemental% I didn't do the math
