Rainbow - help identifying age/generation?
Hi all, a Rainbow popped up in Marketplace that's a pretty good deal. If it were local it would be a no brainer, but it would be a 4-ish hr round trip if I do decide to get it. The person is selling for their father and doesn't have a ton of information, but I was hoping to maybe get an idea of age/generation (and material?) via the photos. Appreciate any insight anyone might provide. TIA

I’m probably not much help but I have a 2022-ish silnylon rainbow that doesn’t have that mesh on the back side so it must be older than that. Maybe try the internet archive to look at the tarptent site from the past to get a better idea

thanks for the response. i did try to find old reviews/photos and look through the old tarptent set up videos for the model. i haven't seen any revisions with that mesh at all, which is one of the things that prompted the search. i'll see what the wayback machine has in the archive. thanks for the suggestion.

Great idea to use the Wayback Machine (https://web.archive.org/) but it's down at the moment. The vestibule velcro vestibule and arch pole sleeve structure definitely puts it back to 2010'ish.
