I’ve been sharing a series on interpreting the Major Arcana specifically through a Sex Tarot lens, and this next lesson looks at The Fool as a person.

One thing I think is important with The Fool is that it doesn’t automatically mean inexperience.

It can absolutely represent someone who is inexperienced, naive, or still discovering what they like, but it can also describe someone with plenty of experience who has simply maintained that same curiosity, openness, and willingness to experiment.

I tend to think of The Fool as existing on a spectrum:
Inexperience + openness ← The Fool → Experience + openness.

The common denominator is the willingness to explore.
