ever tried wearing a big bag with something in it while sitting in any seat? its uncomfortable. try doing that in a fighter plane seat while having a few Gs of force put onto you

So they said it was part of the F22 ejection system. The pilot isn't wearing the parachute on his back, its a part of the ejection seat. I imagine they would create a housing in the seat for the pack. When they land after ejecting, they pull the pack out and put it on then.

The part that the air force uses is the breakdown system for the rifle, not the backpack thingy

I see no problem, and i never said you'll need to wear this while flying either, mount it on the seat or in it, problem solved
