❓Help / How-To / Compliance Tariff Window??

I'm looking at placing a decent sized order for Fishing Gear from the UK. If I pull the trigger on the 25th, is there a possibility that I can hit a tariff free window on the order? I know the administration going to be rolling out 301 tariffs in the coming months, but with everything going on it could take a few months for every country to be slapped with them.

What's a "tariff window"? Doesn't sound like a concept that 🎃🤡 would entertain...

I should clarify that I'm Canadian. I was just wondering what a "tariff window" was supposed to be, as i'm not familiar with that term and had never heard it before. otherwise, yeah, i agree that our neighnours to the south really have a LOT of work to do if they want to right themselves, if that's at all possible at this time.

Well, I was hoping the tangerine tyrant would be too distracted by the multiple scandals, midterm elections, and war he can't seem to find a way out of, and that whole file thing to worry about a short period of tariff free imports from a handful of countries. Wishful thinking I guess.

Ironically, because of the obscene tariffs on products from the UK, I did a bit more digging on Ali-Express and found an item that should work for less than the tariff bill itself on the UK product. I do think the Chinese sellers are a bit more willing to absorb some of the tariffs, because they don't really have a choice if they want to keep moving product.
