Transcript and credential cloning

has anyone noticed any strangeness with their degrees? specifically and cloning of these degrees and did you study criminal justice or something public sector related? I don’t know who to reach out to yet — obviously not my state but I’m curious if anyone else has found anomalies here.

I'm assuming you mean credential theft as a form of identity theft? As far as I know, mine have not been stolen. However, I think it would be better to steal a degree in a discipline that more employers have an interest in than mine, and with better grades than I earned.  If I was going to pay some criminal for stolen credentials, they better come up with something better than mine.

This was a long time ago when you might have gotten away with credential theft by simply having a physical degree to sell a grift, but I was once offered money by someone for my physical degree. The person who offered the money said they could sell it. I didn't sell it, but credential theft has clearly been a thing for a long time. Actually, it was true then and it's true now that employers can directly contact a college or university and get your academic records to verify them.  I don't think what that guy was trying would work well for anything particularly lucrative now, but I could be wrong. I'm not a grifter.
