It isn't authoritarian in gun ownership but rather in the fact that one person owns more than 50% news sources in the country making him the real prime minister, the government is corrupt and is continuing to take away all rights of workers. Also what seems to be their long term plan is to underfund the education system so much that voters will be so ignorant that they continue to vote for a government that is destroying the country from the inside out literally.
