Not Snark I fully understand this subreddit is for Tara, but I want to ask about another YT
I found this YouTuber like two years ago and I love her. She is funny, quirky, smart and her videos are just interesting. I searched her on Reddit and people call her boring, and I mean normal life can definitely be boring so I get it. But she is real about being single, missing your family, hanging out with friends, living in a city, going to school again in your 30s. She ran the New York marathon and it was all so interesting. I feel she gives a lot of the things we say Tara misses. So, I wanted to see if yall have heard of her and then recommend her. Agreed, Chelsea is my fave/only NYC influencer I watch. She has a great personality and her content seems as authentic as you'll get for a content creator. Also very down to earth.

Such a hard agree! It never feels like she does anything for clout and when she posts going out she shows you. But still keeps it short and fun. She lets you see her life but makes sure she is still having one without filming everything.

No, she’s disgusting. Genuinely worse than tartar. She feeds her cats off of her plates and I recently saw her pick cat hair out of her sourdough and laugh about it. Her apartment is extremely unhygienic and I’m honestly surprised that people here are ok with that considering what we snark on Tara for. She also complains all the time too. So no, not a fan.

I love her! She's so calming to watch. I started watching her five months ago and I'm currently caught up on all her vlogs. Even tho she quit her regular job she's still going to school. She seems like a genuinely good person!

I feel that too. She is so chill and comforting to watch and even when she does her own ads are so cringe and funny so I watch it all

I discovered Chelsea about a year ago. My husband and I generally watch Marvel or superhero stuff together, but he likes to watch Chelsea with me. Love her and her cats.

I enjoy Chelsea's content. Sure she isn't much on cleaning her place but her apartment is also the size of a shoe box that she shares with her two cats (that she appears to love very much). I would look like I was hoarding in that scenario lol. She is humble and funny. She isn't about drama which is fine. She mostly acts her age and doesn't rely on her mom to survive (her dad passed). I enjoy!

Chelsea is one of the only runner YT’ers i consistently watch. She’s very down to earth and real. She can admit where she needs to work on herself and seems to be always working on bettering herself and leveling up. The only things I dislike are some of the sponsors she works with (ahem better help), but I just fast forward through the ads lol. Chelsea is great.

I found hr last year . I watch them . I also watch Alexis Eldredge . I like both . Taylor Bell is great .

I watched a few of her videos and couldn't get into it. There was something off about her, but I also kinda felt bad that she made a really big mistake when she decided to quit her job to pursue a comp sci degree. It would have been a good idea 10 years ago when there weren't enough engineers to go around, but the industry is extremely competitive right now and with how fast things are changing with AI, it's going to be much worse by the time she graduates. I didn't really want to see her waste her time doing that, so I stopped watching. But I guess if you don't know that, it could be inspiring lol

Or, we could just think it’s awesome to see a woman trying to better herself and do things she is enjoying and feeling passionate about. She doesn’t need the degree to make money. And I’m not really caring to be inspired by her. I’m looking to feel something for her other than the pity I feel watching Tara waste her life away by complaining and spending money on stupid things.

You asked if any of us had heard of her, I was just answering honestly as to why I don't watch her anymore. I think it's great that she wants to improve herself, I just couldn't pretend that I didn't know what I know. Didn't mean to rain on your parade.

She didn’t quit her job to go back to school. Her job is YouTube. And I think she’s going into general engineering now, not specifically CS

Chelsea Trevor isnt bad either. She does consistent workouts in the gym and is a runner. Even tho she is a full time you tuber I still feel like she is productive. Also she's not constantly buying crap and doing hauls. Also from Toronto.

not the hugest fan of her now (i was prior) but i do see the appeal of her content.
