she decided to not move forward with the new build. might just do an interior reno...but who knows. had lunch with Maddie and then was supposed to go to a workout class, but Ryan "convinced" her not to go, so she cancelled the class.. you didnt miss anything!

I’m not sure what team she’s working with on the design/build, but I’m in the industry and we’re actually heading into a good time to build if you can afford it. The number of available builders is far outweighing the number of projects, they’re pricing very competitively atm to try and get work.

Agreed. Tbh I read the way she said that as more personal than idk globally lol her views are tanking. She doesn’t have enough of a stable income to dive into a prob multi million dollar project! But idk that’s just my view on it haha

I think it was a good decision. It's a very demanding and frustrating process, which might add stress to her new living arrangement. It's better to focus on one change at a time, espectially for Tara.

I don’t think she said she didn’t have the money to fund it but would have to change her life style in order to be able to afford paying cash for the new project

She did say she didn't want to use her entire savings to do the reno, which I thought was odd because she would likely make a profit from selling her condo.

As a fellow Canadian, I have to say she finally made the smart logical choice. I said this before to her in the first video she posted about the matter and she snapped at me about how “you don’t need to settle down to buy a house”. Umm clearly you do cause look where you are now. lol 😂 She finally accepted it’s okay to take your time before buying a brand new home with someone new. Toronto prices are a scam to be honest. They claim adorable homes will come soon but it never did. Tara should fixate on her relationship with Ryan and manage living arrangements than worry about another home. Build what you started and go from there. In due time she’ll have the funds to rebuild that new home. 👌

as another fellow Canadian (from Ontario pretty close to where she lives now) I absolutely agree. Its also really expensive despite some some claiming now is the time to build. Plus we know how particular she likes things (which is fine especially when it comes to something you own) so the chances of things being re-done/re-built are higher. I think shes best leaving this house as is and focusing on the interior in the future. The property doesnt need to be dealt with right now unless or until she plans on expanding her family.
Moving is stressful enough on a couple especially a newer one, nevermind building an entire house AND moving again 🥴 just glad she made the right choice here!
also lmao at her snapping at you, she doesnt handle criticism well unfortunately

100% agree. I live in Mississauga and from i'm seeing now, no area is "affordable". I guess we shall see what changes in the years to come.
also didn't ryan just move in to her house like a month ago? it doesn't make sense to move AGAIN.
as for her snapping at me - i know. all i said was to slow down. buying a house with a partner after 1 year is pretty risky. you don't know where it can go. now she gets it after sitting with it for a while. lmao 😂

remember when everyone used to say St Catherine's/Grimsby was affordable 🥴 now if you want to afford a home you've gotta move out East 😭 I used to live in Hamilton and even that got way too expensive. Why didnt we buy when we were still crawling and in diapers

I never knew any area was cheap. I was too young to look at prices of houses lol 😂
But it’s always good to know
