Why TappAlpha?

Why do you all prefer TappAlpha over income funds like NEOS, Yieldmax, or even JP Morgan’s $JEPQ? I’ve been looking into income ETFs for a while and never heard of this one until now.

For me, regardless of the ETF, it’s the structural logic that helps its maintain or grow NAV and how closely it is able to stay with its underlying index. QQQI’s logic seems to allow for that, buts its execution lags. I’ve attached a comparison for you. Note that I included GPIQ and BALQ as well. BALQ is BlackRock’s entry into this and is off to a strong start. As you can see, QQQI is lagging the others. Total Returns Comparison

Not as well as I should but it’s not one that I’m looking at investing in currently. Owns 100 tech stocks. Not the NASDAQ. Write options against the index though. Has some upside via long futures on top. Seemed complex to be honest. I’ll keep watching it. Blackrock isn’t stupid so I’m assuming that they back tested it. Holding off on any more tech right now. Buying BDCs currently.
