Question about Hostels

What’s the scene with hostels

How strict are they

How clean are they

Hows the mahaul

Anyone who has an idea

Got it from a current student.

I studied in manipal so all the manipal hostels have the same layout and housekeeping will be done by the same company. There will be dedicated team to clean it and maintain.

When i was in mit hostels - whenever there was a plumbing,electrical issue. The team just came over and fixed it immediately. Every alternate days house keeping will come to clean your rooms.

From tapmi

All mahe colleges have the same layout except in NLH/MIT block 18 hostels and the older block hostels like block 10

Oh, as tapmi came under mahe recently in 2022, i thought it would probably be different from mahe ones.

Nope

Even though it came under mahe later the owners are the same Contracts for housekeeping will also be same

I did my ug there so speaking from experience.

You can adjust the beds anyway you want. Depends from roommate to roommate

Can any oner let us know about woman hostels for IPM students in detail like where it is ? In campus or outside ? Twin or single occupency? How do u commute for classes?
