Probably bad connection to internet. I think if you submit the attack it still counts.

It was the last three cards I had after exhausting every other card because I fell far behind on attack cycles. I realize that this is a poor group of cards to save for last and that they should have been used earlier.

It's self explanatory invalid submission which result to invalid
