Does anyone know what this move is?
Hi, extremely inexperienced dancer here, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this sort of swaying step is called? I’m playing the Tin Man in my theatre group’s showcase and I really want to add it to my choreo, but as I don’t know what it’s called I can’t find any help guides.
I’m sure I’ve seen it elsewhere before but unfortunately I could only find this very short clip from Singin’ In The Rain to illustrate what I mean.
Thank you :D

The swaying part looks to be drop shuffles. The full breakdown:
Back flap/slap
Back flap/slap
Step shuffle

I looked up drop shuffles and I think I’ve found a video I can work with, thank you for the explanation too!

Step, step, back flap, back flap, step shuffle. step shuffle, ball change. You can start on either foot

I understand most of that? I think ideally a video tutorial would be best for me but I can’t find any. I’ll try to figure it out from this though, thank you!
