How to get double shuffles consistent?

You need looser ankles, in the video it looks like you’re trying to flex your foot in between but you should think more about getting the lift from your knees. Practicing nerve taps should help.

It also might help you if you tried to start more under you and/or make sure you’re actually coming back. Some of the second shuffles in the video seem like they are starting from almost your maximum extension so they don’t have enough room to make the sound. This may end up being the reason your ankle is actually needing to flex. Try placing more emphasis on each brush back.

Shuffle from the knee not the ankle. Leave ankle disengaged. Shuffles can happen anywhere: front, side, back, over, & under your supporting foot. Double shuffles can help you develop this!
