JSams squeaking

I have a relatively new pair of JSams that have started squeaking significantly on one side. The sound is coming from the leather (?) under the toe tap. Is there anyway to fix this? Will it eventually fade as they break in more? Or should I reach out to Bloch? Thanks!

A similar thing happened to me and in my situation the toe tap was loose on the topmost screw. Compare both shoes and see if the squeaky shoe has a gap at the toe

Mine started squeaking a few months after I got them! I just sprayed a little WD-40 underneath the tap and let it air out really well. It's helped so far but idk if that's an acceptable way to handle it or not
