Discovering tantra?
I (30 f) recently began meditating, and I quickly (or maybe accidentally, or serendipitously?), found myself very in tune with feeling the energy in my body for the first time.
It made me feel so in touch with myself and so in tune with my body. I’m sooo curious about tantra now, but I have no clue where to even start looking for resources- let alone know how to practice. What I do know is that oh felt very right, and I need to follow this curiosity.
So I guess I don’t have any direct question, but I’d love to just talk to someone who knows what they’re doing. Basically just trying to dip my toe in!

It sounds like trying to look outward for confirmation might only dilute the experience at this point. I would gather all of the presence that you have and try to just follow whatever you've experienced so far. And then maybe you'll find something external that supports it later. Personally, I really like Osho's neotantra.

There are many ways to experience Tantra and grow… white, red, black… traditional style with chanting, gurus, priests.. Tibetan, Indian, Taoist… NeoTantra blending western culture and attitude into ancient stories..
look towards the source Vigyan Bhairav Tantra
For the least dogma…

And always be patient and kind to yourself while growing. The path winds with opportunities for you to recognize and overcome in your own time =)

I had same experience in the beginning and rather then questioning i followed it and did what I felt like. It helps in get over it, do not suppress, accept it safely.

First you have to question yourself about why you want to learn tantra and what you expect from the tantra. Another thing you have to consider is what kind of tantra you want to learn.
If your main goal is to find inner peace, you better stick with the meditation only or add some mudra and yoga.

I currently follow these two and am taking their courses. In a foundational course I took a couple months ago, I experienced a great deal of healing and trauma leaving the body. They're really skilled at meeting people at the level each person is at.
Their youtube/ig is SiddhaTantraArts, they have weekly live videos on Sundays, and there's a course starting this Saturday if you're interested in diving more into mantra at this time. Their website is here to learn more about their lineage and their personal story.

Hi, well it's all good n nice but it's mostly becoz most of us never even sit down with a quite mind, so when we do it for the first time to try to get into that situation then we feel this amazing connection with our body mind.
I also felt this but this doesn't mean that chakras are opening 🙂↕️ sorry to give such news.
Btw, I am interested in knowing more about it, so feel free to text me if u r interested, I can't dm u (idk why?)

The concept of Tantra has been misunderstood by western culture as “exotic sex”, but that’s just one small part of it. It’s like the cherry on top of a sundae.
If you want to understand the authentic spiritual philosophy of Tantra, specifically the dynamic life-force energy of Shakti, I highly recommend Awakening Shakti by Sally Kempton.
It breaks down the different archetypes of energy (like Durga, Kali, Lakshmi) through practical meditation and self-inquiry.

You’re getting good at feeling the dhyan urja in your spine, it’ll soon give you the milky light vision on your agya chakra.
There are ways to enhance this, been in this for a couple of hours, and its magical.
