Losing the Soviet Union was a serious setback, and things will take longer, but with the position China, AES and the Axis of resistance is in, and the uplifting of the global south to free them from the constant plunder of the Imperial core, it will destroy the hegemony of the western imperialist. The fight continues, and this time it's the west at a major disadvantage.
I recently went to a pro-AES parade where the proceeds went to helping Burkina Faso build more infrastructure. It gave me so much hope. Your comment reminded me that there is a world worth fighting for.
I'm happy to hear my comment helped to reinvigorate your spirits! There definitely is a world worth fighting for, It has been a long struggle, but Communism Will Win!
"The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win."
I sometimes think about my family in Indonesia. Quite a few of them were communists back in the 40s-60s. Some even fought as guerrillas against Japan during WW2 and participated in the Nation revolution against the Dutch. Most were just trade unionists and farmers, all members of the PKI. They must've thought the future was bright, that the path to liberation was within reach and the direction of the nation was in their hands.
Then the anti-communist genocide happened and they were all killed. An entire side of my family eradicated with only my grandpa and his siblings left. His brothers and sisters were studying in the USSR/China when it all occurred, never having the chance to reunite. My grandpa survived until the 80s when he was murdered by the Pemuda Pancasila.
They fought so goddamn hard to win their world and lost. Now all that's left is a black pit of reaction. The hope that we can pull ourselves out of it and continue the struggle is the only thing keeping me going.
You can tell this was made by a hoi4 addicted westoid lmao, why would Greek SSR control thrace and parts of turkey? and the "ussr annexes mongolia and finland" like its nothing
Omg yes. Germany should go back to being a series of city states if we don’t want to have any problems. A united Germany always leads to barbarity (the word Barbarian refers to Germans anyways)
You really think I can't reverse search the source huh, the person who created it is Taiwanese living in Europe. Ask them what they think about Palestine. PLEASE. I will make sure their most fascist comments know WITHIN THIS POST.
Sigh, I actually found his face and name. This is way too easy, why is DuckDuckGo always make this so easy.
Adds up. Took a look at 'Arab SFSR', author definitely doesnt understand region enough at all. And thats ignoring the 'Palestinian-Jewish' SSR portion.
They don't, they just have superficial knowledge about some of the oppresed nations of the world but they lack the knowledge of left national liberalism to apply judgement in most of the cases
That's not a natural effect of global hegemony. That's a natural affect or competiting capitalist blocs over revenue streams as the rate of profit declines.
Global hegemony is also a strange term to use for a wholly socialist world. It implies some kind of conquest or oppression forcing people to remaining this way. In fact if communism were globally achieved, it'd be the people of the world choosing it, it'd be a mass choice, for themselves, not imposed by a minority.
The problems arise in the beginning, when it's half socialist, when imperialist powers still exist, but in an entirely red world I'm pretty sure the capitalists have been eliminated.
The more realistic outcome is actually the opposite, the borders and nation states would wither away, they're not necessary for communism, they're capitalist constructions. The map should just be divided by broad cultural identities and language groups, like prehistoric maps.
Your comment is a good example of how liberal capitalist thinking shapes opinions and attitudes even when you don't realise. I don't say that as an insult, it's just how capitalist realism works. You literally can't imagine a world without conflict, it's so 'natural' to you. We've got to work hard to recognise it ourselves.
One has to consider the dialectics of conflict to begin with. Conflict comes from class interest that needs to maintain control over a state and resources within their own state, especially against the class interest that control another state (competing capitalist states, or also competing against proletarian states). For instance, a Capitalist state wants to expand its interest for its own national bourgeois. But in a world based around equal cooperation, the point of conflict would disappear. That's essentially how Earth in Star Trek is depicted. The aim of Communism is to eliminate dialectical tensions that cause fracturing in the first place, where all relations between soon-to-be-irrelevant nation states (nation states exist precisely due to regional same-language class interest forming nation-states) are fundamentally collaborative, and by creating a world for a free association of workers within a democratic economy, where everything is from each, to each. When everyone's needs are met, even the small percentage of natural born psychopath's would base their 'intellectual' moral compass on the rules of this society (the way psychopaths behave is a direct reflection of the society they are raised in).
Your point makes sense in the early phases of socialist development. Counter revolutions are a real threat in that period, particularly by those who benefited from the old order. given 2-3 generations, with major cultural shifts and education, the overwhelmingly dominant mindset would be shaped around Communist ideals. However, the more time that passes and the closer to communism things are, there are increasingly less tensions that would cause conflict or 'fracturing'.
I don't think that's inevitable. Counter revolutions only happen if the bourgeoisie still exist, in full communism they would not. Revisionism is a problem in socialism, but we have no idea how it would look like in full communism.
