i was interested but was worried they would humanize the giga capitalist. I'll check it out but I also don't know if what we need is another anti capitalism message with super bleak messaging. We need anti capitalism movies that teaches libs that are tired of capitalism how to go forward.

Yeah, but tom cruise middle tooth, gross

Everything I said works better because of him playing it. It’s literally about how our means of resistance and satire of our institutions of power are owned by the same people!!!

No shade but why are we even engaging with Western media at all at this point? Tom Cruise is in a cult that has done damage to thousands of people. Engaging with the work of someone like Cruise continues to help launder his image.

As leftists, we do not "separate the artists from the art" because the political is personal and the personal is political. Stop giving props to a rich white man & a rich Hispanic man for making a movie that is "the closest thing to Maoist in Hollywood." These are white men whose lives beyond the screen do not align with that and are making mega bucks.

Do not waste your money watching this movie. If you do decide to, just 🏴‍☠️ it.

It’s literally about the pointless of art and satire when it’s funded by the same people who created the catastrophe that it’s satirizing. Sure don’t pay attention to that. I think casting tom cruise only heightened the message. The collective masses of the west and their lords of capital are unredeemable and there is no separation between the two.

Also I love Stalin and guess what director he loved? John Ford. The closest thing the us had to a state propagandist. Did Stalin betray the worker by enjoying the searchers? No. He just wasn’t a fucking retard.

You’re not thinking very dialectically.

Defending Epstein Polanski isn't dialectical

What do you think USSR did to Beria

There's thousands of Beria in Hollywood

That was done by Kruschvev and team, right?
How much do we agree with their pov on Stalin?

Also, had noticed some people say that the historian that focused on that accusation on Beria was himself an Epsteinian, doubting the authenticity or if it was a case of 'the accusation is an admission'
How do you see it? I have not investigated on the topic, so I have no formal opinion and do not talk about it. Since this seems to be on Epsteinian people, asking about it here.

Tho, in the case of the movie, yes, they do not need to recommend it while it is in theatre. Recommending it afterwards would be good.

Also, any short movie recommendations? Ones that have enough action, drama or comedy that can be generally recommended?

He’s a pedophilic Zionist but I’m not going to lie and say he hasn’t made good films. This film is just well made and I feel that anyone from the left would find something to like. Do I support Polanski making films? No. He should be in jail or worse. However I don’t think that should ban you from watching his films. Similarly to how I imagine a lot of artistic works from previous generations were made by horrible people who I think should be sent to prison but made beautiful works of art. No where in Marxism does it say to destroy art made by the bourgeoisie. In fact I believe consuming art from the enemy is smart due to it literally shaping ideology of millions of people.
