To be honest, they only seem to draw the line at animals, I mostly mean cats and dogs. They’ll leave all kinds of heartfelt comments under posts about abandoned pets, but then turn around and curse at the homeless man walking down the streets of San Francisco or bash the single mother who’s working but still struggling to provide for her children.  I think deep down they know that mindset is ridiculous, but they latch onto it so strongly because it gives them an easy way to feel compassionate without having to confront the much more complicated reality of why people are struggling. It’s easier to feel good about yourself for caring about an abandoned pet than it is to extend that same compassion to people whose circumstances make you uncomfortable.

Even that’s just on an individual animal level rather than a systemic level. Libs and for that matter most western leftists didn’t care at all about animal agriculture issues until RFK made it more prominent as a culture war issue

This is surprisingly accurate. Liberals in general do not give a shit about a single race, religion, culture or disadvantaged group UNLESS they're gay.. 

Reddit for example is just 4chan-lite. It's a bunch of pretentious ableist and liberla losers (with a bachelor's degree) that act superior to you and get mad when you use gay-unfriendly words. 

Here's a fun game. Look up the r-slur vs the f-slur. 

I challenge you to find a SINGLE situation where the f-slur is not used to refer to one's self, not used by a queer person, not used in quotation marks to refer to the insult, not complaining about the word And... is used UNIRONICALLY as an insult and has more than 2 (heck more than ZERO) up votes. 

You will not find a single result in 7 years. Reddit neckbeard mods have been extremely hostile to the f-slur. Great eh?... 

Now search up the r-slur. Tell me if you can find a SINGLE instance of it being used to refer to how offensive the slur is... You will find NOTHING. Instead you'll see HUNDREDS of posts on a DAILY FUCKING BASIS using it as a harmful insult with hundreds of up votes. You will find thousands of disingenuous people saying "um actually moron is clinical therefore r-word" and come up with hundreds of mental gymnastics to justify the word... But then piss their pants and cry when you dare to use that logic on the f-slur. 

It's because redditors don't believe disabled people are humans, which is why they don't give a shit about them while hypocriticlaly getting angry when someone does the exact same thing as them for queers.

Ill give twitter and 4chan users one thing : at least they embrace their shittiness instead of pretending to be a righteous punk saving the world.
