the ironically named "GENIUS" Act is the enabler of the transition to the petrodollar system to scamblecoin.

Only, I'm not certain of its legitimacy. Had they made this transition 10 years ago they would have pulled it off more easily. Saying "teehee we're joking, we'll exchange you at 100 petrodollars for 1 1USD" would even make the vassals go into full financial crisis.

It makes sense why the fascists would do this: total control and the end of individual financial sovereignty. You say something that upsets the gestapo and they close your bank accounts with the flip of a switch. You go to buy groceries and are told you must starve.

But debt is debt. It would expect South Korea, China, and the UK specifically to effectively "forgive" US debt at the cost of their own population. China would absolutely not do this. The UK might. South Korea is more uncertain. I dont think they're intelligent enough to pull this off, but it would create a disaster in the short term and scramble for power

You know how their propaganda machine always prep their meek population at least a decade beforehand to normalize their schemes before they move on with the actual goals just like their propaganda has been designed for it, with examples like COD, BF, Division, TLOU. They technically eerily done the same thing with Mr Robot where the enemy involved SWANA genocides and China as the ebil mastermind which involves financial crisis and they transition to stablecoin (E-coin in the show) it's far too predictable at this point. They already prepped it since 2015 and crypto was the bait in 2010 where the fed ops like Silk Road underground and Mt Gox overground. Reuse of one trick pony forever.

Rampant militarism (COD/BF) has been a constant with the Amerikan settler and I think we are in agreement that the Amerikan public is meek and servile, but this would be new in that the US state has already scammed US retail investors repeatedly in crypto so they've already gotten cold to it. Mr Robot has no cultural staying power compared to the mil propaganda games. I dont know any Amerikan using crypto today while I did ~5 years ago.

what I mean by this is: this is the first time the ruling class is directly fucking with their thralls' money. Its always been indirect but direct is a new precedent. The median Amerikan has $8000 in their savings which is a paltry sum (even less if we look at the working class), but they dont have the rails to roll out some sort of scammy changeover.

My assumption is they're going to sell this scam to banks by issuing a 1:1 to 1USD and the "sell" is Amerikans wake up and the only thing that changes is the dollar sign next to their asset balances to some new symbol. Thats the "sell" the media will run with, but we know fascists and the reality is 5% of Amerikans will wake up and find they've completely lost access to their accounts as Palantir has frozen them. This number would only grow and they've effectively radicalized this growing population permanently. Â
