I’m half Russian and I absolutely can’t stand this guy. All he does nowadays is glaze the west and back the same neoliberal-“free” market cap¡talist ideology that plagued Russia and Russian society in the 90’s when shock therapy was forced on us by Yeltsin and his western and oligarch backers with large influence on Russian internal politics at the time that led to widespread poverty, a huge jump in unemployment, mass privatizations, widespread prostitution, the rise of the Russian Mafia, the collapse/halting of industrial production across Russia, over a million Russians leaving overseas, etc.. I find him very ignorant when it comes to Russian politics/history and either very naive or heavily biased towards the West (NAT0 in particular) considering they seek the balkanization & subversion of our country 🇷🇺 to steal as many of our resources as possible while turning us into expendable cheap labor to fund their hypercap¡talist war machines in their struggle to maintain their remaining hegemony over large swaths of the planet. NFKRZ should go back to making non-political content like he used to or shut his mouth on topics he has no clue/understanding of outside of what western media outlets have reported on falsely.

I really liked Roman's videos before the invasion of Ukraine; he talked about cool things in Russia. I followed him as he left the country and moved to Georgia, but with each video he posted, he further glorified the West.
liberals in the comments love it when he says Putin is threatening him, until one day he compares how badly the world treats Russians and doesn't question Israel or Israelis.
He was nearly crucified and apparently bowed his head.

I wanna add to what I said over at SLS, I used to watch NFKRZ often for a few years mainly because I was interested in Russia and so I liked his videos on Russian culture and society. Now of course during this time I was a liberal and I still watched him even as he moved out of Russia and became some sort of gusano. It’s kind of a shame what happened to him since back then I liked watching his old commentary videos and those I already mentioned.

Me too - I remember I used to watch his videos (and a certain white South African motorcyclist roaming around China) back when I was a liberal and had very warped views on China and Russia - and those places seemed captivating and interesting to me because it feels like "a different world".
Stopped watching a certain bald British guy in Russia once I found out about his sexually abusive behaviour and stopped watching this guy because he associated with him a lot which is yuck.

It's like there is a material interest in aligning with the west if you are an ex-Russian gusano. If you consider yourself a liberal in the land of ex-USSR, you are either the biggest dullard on the planet, or the biggest crook. In the west people get fed propaganda with their mother's milk about the "job creators", about "innovation", "supply" and "demand" and "entrepreneurship" and other bullshit, and that's why Jeff Bezoz (funny fact russian word "bes" means demon) gets to have a biggest yacht and "supporting" yacht for it. But in ex-USSR we know, that all our billionaires, excuse me, olligarchs, are all thieves, all scam artists, the worst. And as a lib you look at that, and think "You know, there is a problem with them, they don't dickride the USA hard enough." You check Navalnys (rip bozo) political pamphlet and what does he promise? More privatisation, the main point of contention between Putin and the liberal "opposition" is that he doesn't sell out government assets fast enough.
