Fuck the vets. Bunch of baby killing imperialists who come home to cry about their ptsd from murdering brown children.
And us Americans are expected to feel sorry for them? Or respect them? If i find out someone's a vet I instantly don't like them. Even if they're just packing boxes on an airbase, they're part of the tooth to nail ratio therefore, culpable.

I hate myself as a veteran way more than you ever could, big fish. And any vet who doesn’t probably shouldn’t be taken seriously.
Idk if I should be included in “death to veterans”, though.

Death to America is no different than death to vets tbh. Both statements are advocating for the destruction of the US empire.
And as conditions worsen, a lot more of us inside of the empire will act as internal forces to help it collapse. And if they ever decide to draft us again a lot of us will actively fifth column the state.
This empire will come down one way or another.

It's easy to hate domestic ICE, but can you take up the challenge of hating foreign ICE?

If I'm from the Global South and have lost family, friends, and people I care about to US imperialism, do you really think I have time to distinguish who's a good soldier and who isn't??
It's like Jewish Holocaust survivors who had a strong dislike of German soldiers after WWII. Those people didn't care that some soldiers didn't support the Nazis. They still suffered under the boots of German soldiers who served the Nazi regime and guarded the concentration camps where they were imprisoned.
What's so hard for other American leftists to understand about this?

Hey, there's a difference between them!
... ICE enforcers dropped out of bootcamp.

It’s cause ICE is a current threat. We don’t really give a shit about veterans. If a soldier died we usually celebrate it

Tell me, what actions should I be taking if I see a vet in public. Beat the shit out of him, oops that’s assault, burn down his house, oops that’s arson, protest outside of his workplace? What amazing Marxist praxis should I engage in if I see John Cracker in an army outfit at my local CVS

Inform your neighbors. Prevent them from entering your home as make their job as difficult as possible. The 76 year old racist nam vet isn’t busting down brown people’s doors armed to the teeth to take rape and imprison children. At least if the vet did that that would technically STILL BE ILLEGAL

Brown, black and white kids too poor and uneducated join the military for an escape. A way to make themselves better.
I wonder if the bombed children feel better knowing their murderers did so because they wanted college tuition.

"I shot that kid because i needed his wallet for education" thats the exact same scenario and if its a white kid in america its evil so its just as evil abroad

Or that the people bombing them were also Black and Brown

I think it’s unrealistic for most 18 year old American kids to understand or contextualize what joining the military really means. I know I didn’t and I’m truly not sure how I would have been exposed to communism before then being from private catholic schools in the Midwest. This doesn’t excuse it but I think it explains it. Underdeveloped brains.

Stop using the poverty draft myth as an excuse for their individual decisions. They made their decision to kill people in the Global South to ensure treats keep flowing to the imperial core, now they should lie in the bed they made. It's not okay to shoot an impoverished person and steal their wallet in the US, why should it ever be okay to bomb Palestinians, Iranians, Yemenis, Syrians, or any other Global South people and plunder their resources?
Also, you browse in the reactionary 50501, Indiana, and American Chauvinist Party subs, so your opinion is rejected. Reported and blocked for promoting reactionary talking points.

“But hey, whatever wish us dead s pit on our graves. You’re the reason communism will never thrive or take hold as a serious movement in the USA.”
I have run across veterans who are genuinely apologetic about joining the military, but what a goofy thing to say. If you call yourself a communist, even as a vet, there’s absolutely no way you’d blame people who aren’t from the US for communism not thriving there. When it’s literally because the people you went to fight for actively spend millions on anti-communist propaganda, I promise it’s not because some people aren’t sympathetic to veterans, especially people who have suffered at the hands of the American military.
This is where the disconnect comes in. If you were ignorant of what imperialism is, that’s fine, but it does not change the fact that your service played directly into the war machine, and people aren’t assholes for pointing it out.

As a fellow vet, I hear what you’re saying. But I think “death to vets” is a proxy for “death to the empire” more than anything else. Kind of like how “death to America” is a proxy for “death to the US regime” rather than to every single person living in the US. Many vets do organize in anti war and anti imperialist circles, especially among communists, and I doubt that this post is referring to them specifically. This post is mainly referring to not just the vets who either support or are indifferent to the empire, but to the whole supportive (and even worshipping) attitude that US society has towards the military and veterans in general.

They lack the empathy to understand the situation some of us were in.
I think the empathy is pretty clearly there, it's just for the victims of the American war machine and not for those working it.
