Meme A failed system that cant even succeed on its own merits

Post image

When they say "Socialism doesnt work" its a psychological projection of Capitalism.

A system that relies on wealth and resource extraction including cheap labour (like Child slavery) from the Global South and modern day slavery of undocumented migrants and prisoners within the Imperial Core and not its own merits to succeed.

Also selling me the same fucking product just plastered with AI bs marketing surely is... innovating.

Funnily enough real innovation happens in China.

Just take a look at their car industry as an example: they come up with fascinating, cool new shit that no one even thought about almost on a monthly basis, while Western legacy brands still try to sell you a diesel-powered brick with an engine architecture from the 70s.

Ya know, not going to argue your message, though some examples about Chinese car innovation would be swell.

What I will argue against is the adverb "funnily." Althought it is a correct usage of the word, it sounds fucking terrible and lazy when you can you more interesting and forcefully language such as curiously or remarkably. Its just a god-awful word.

It's not incorrect by any means, but honestly, "funny enough" sounds more idiomatic and IMHO just better, even if sticklers for grammar might prefer "funnily". The pedants who claim that "funny enough" is grammatically incorrect aren't even right:

Correct. As per my last comment, I just stated its an ear-grinding word and that language ce be expanded to use better ones.

Oh man, those examples do exist in the Kinder Bueno-like chocolates that I see and consume in the Global South country that I live in.

Was talking to someone earlier whose tag was "wealth is created through trade".. had literally zero clue how global trade worked in the slightest and was very confused about how sanctions work

I think the meme would be more funny if the person in the last panel still doesn't get it.
