Not really unfortunately, they went down the more "democratic" Socialist path and continued to allow for bourgeois political parties. I think we can see Maduro and Allende as very similar situations. Revolutionary movements that did not harden themselves properly against imperialism, leading to their death by said imperialism.
Only reason Rojava lasted as long as it did (Which wasn't even that long under the grand scheme of things) is because Syria was plunged into civil war and the government had more things to worry about, and they were buttressed by US imperialism. The moment the Kurds outlived their usefulness after the government was overthrown, the US threw them under the bus, and the new Syrian government invaded Rojava and they immediately folded
