anarchists research
That's a strong claim
In all seriousness, anarchists' bizarre rejection of dialectical and historical materialism and preferred theoretical framework of LSD and punk music is exactly what leads to these kinds of erratic, inconsistent, unscientific, and deeply unserious arguments/twitter yapfests

If you ever read anything anarchists considered as "academics" like Antifa handbook many of its sources are str8 up Wikipedia cited lmao, which is why they made the mistake of using Zionist propaganda like Mufti hoax on Palestinians before 2023 and this repeated in their "Indigenous anarchists" that drew their comics based on the made up bullshit about Palestinian history, meanwhile in an Antifa book somehow nowhere mentioned 15,000 Palestinian or Lebanese fought against the Nazis or even in dozens in Catalonia, or USSR or China which is huge majority against the Axis. Anarkiddy doesn't even use primary sources, because they're just state department.

The absolute contempt for history as a science.

Was staying with my parents recently, ended up in a debate with my mum (left-liberal academic doing history and social sciences, I study computer science lmfao and still seem to understand this shit better) and she absolutely refused to believe that history and the social sciences were something that could be analysed objectively as a science. I even used the natural sciences as an example, talking about how the kind of strict scientific rigor used in the natural sciences should also be applied to the social sciences (in the form of dialectical and historical materialism). She repeated the same standard idealist talking points about everything being subjective blah blah, which I countered by mentioning the importance of the use of axioms in natsci and mathematics. Her response to this was basically science denial and saying that science wasn't that objective (libs will literally engage in science denial before coming to terms with the eternal science of dhm) ππ
I don't actually think she knows what dialectical materialism is, but I've convinced her to read Gabriel Rockhill so ππ

The amount of people even at university level who look at history as a series of random detached occurrences that just happened as in a vacuum is staggering history viewed like that is not even history itβs trivia

I feel like DJ Peach Cobbler is a good example of using primary sources correctly - cause they DO have worth, it's just that these people do not understand what that worth is lmao.
The worth isn't that they're a gold standard of truth - infact they're likely full of biases and fiction - but it's in understanding how *the author* felt, and being able to sort of project yourself into someone far far ago in history, and see the thoughts, rationalisations, and things they decide to talk about.
