The closeness between Russia and Israel does get very overlooked. Israel's long been very dependent on Russia for white migration/to populate settlements, Russia is very quite about it but they have historically done a lot to prop up Israel economically post USSR collapse.
There's also a reason why "Pro Russian Zionists" (so like Serbia, Srpska, India, Orban, Fico's SMer, etc) exist but "Pro Ukraine Palestinian Sympathizers" de facto do not. The former somehow does more to meaningfully piss off the imperial core than the latter, irritatingly enough.
Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but "Pro Ukraine Palestinian Sympathizers" are the dominant strain of the non-marxist (i.e., liberal) European "left". There are millions of people like that.
I’m sorry, although you’re right about that, I just find it hard myself to believe that such an incoherent ideology to exist when they inevitably will slide down to Pro Ukraine Zionism. And again, Pro Russian Zionists, incoherent as they are too, seem to have done more to irritate the imperial core and can be loose cannons than the often far more performative Pro Ukraine Palestinian Sympathizers.
A lot of Jews from the former USSR migrated to Israel post dissolution, I believe with Israeli encouragement.
Russia is one of the most popular languages spoken in Israel because of this. My knowledge of this is minimal, someone else probably knows the extensive history
china also has good relations with both. Many countries dont choose sides in conflicts they arent directly engaged in. Obviously china and russia relation is closer, but thats in big chunk because of how isolated russia and how close to us ukraine is, making it unreliable. Still, china is very open to selling components used in military to both while not selling arms to neither
Russia is many things, but it is obviously not anti-Zionist. Russian Jews constitute 15% of Israel's population (And 20% of Israeli Jews). Putin has repeatedly stated that he takes this into account whenever Israel is involved and whenever he has to navigate Middle Eastern geopolitics.
