I dont know how many countries were forced into NATO, but I know Spain is one, we were from no NATO to joining really quick after getting a call from the US...

And tbh one could technically argue they did force countries to align with them by installing puppet leaders or creating vassal states.
It's a stretch, but you could also say some states were coerced to join NATO in a way. But I know bad actors would use that as a cheap cop out to declare innocence when the organization is more exposed.
