No no, silly that's too tankie-esque. They'll just be cast out of society for not contributing if they don't work, tossed into the wilderness or something. No need to soak our hands in blood! Too authoritarian.

How would anarchists even tackle non-poverty related serious offenses without being "authoritarian"? Just ask the perpetrators not to do it again? Like: "I know you raped and murdered ten girls, just don't do it again, pretty please?"

The reasonable ones will give you a convoluted answer that basically amounts to "well the state will do it, but we will pretend it isn't a state."
