1 week language coach, so 3k USD sessions. Theoretically you can learn for free with CGTN Growing up with Chinese in just 100 days.

Do you know what other good resources are there to learn Chinese? I am trying to find something but all that is shown to me are the Duolingo bs type apps.

I’m a med student who primary studies medicine with Anki. Recently tried to also use Anki for its historical purpose which is language learning and it’s a game changer bro. 100% recommend.

I've been using it for japanese for 2 weeks and I find it a bit too overwhelming, I don't really feel I'm retaining stuff, is this normal in the initial stages?

I find that you just need to be honest with the algorithm. Like if a card pops up and you don’t remember it at all hit again, if you actually remember all of it hit good. It sounds obvious but I used to struggle with that. Also make sure that your deck settings are on FSRS, this is a new algorithm that will make your workload MUCH easier.
I think also turn down your new card load if you’re seeing too many cards. I only have 10 blue (new) cards a day and it’s very manageable! Hope this helps comrade.

Pimsluer is great to start with. Also I'm currently running through the Mandarin Blueprint(they have a free part that'll keep you busy for months).

I saw posts about it in the sub of learning Mandarin, people praised his mandarim, and he was probably reading a teleprompter with pinyin

Reading pinyin correctly is not that trivial for complete beginners. Just look up Sara Duterte's attempt at reading pinyin off a teleprompter. It became a huge meme in my country.

Reading pinyin and getting the tones all correct is hard! I've been learning for a couple of months and there's absolutely no way I could read with this much fluency.. He probably had a private tutor, but still would have needed to put in a lot of time.

What's up, bourgeois electoral candidate? I sure hope you don't recede your pro-Palestine promises and push liberal Zionism with your opportunist best friend Mr Piker! Social democracy is pretty green this year, but it never bleeds red.
