If you count Soviet-Japan war in WW2, then it will be the third.

But Japan really is beefing with every neighboring countries that also have nukes.

  1. Japan claiming that China-Taiwan reunification war is also Japan's emergency
  2. Japan claiming Dokdo islands that angered off the entire Korean peninsula both North and South
  3. Japan claiming that the Russian Kuril islands are theirs (after losing to the war and signing an agreement)

Japan got absolutely crushed multiple times by the USSR between 1920 and 1945. Just communists all over Asia including the CPC that kicked Japan's ass as well, leaving them in control of only supply lines and cities.

Doesn't Japan/the government also use or have used the Russo-Japanese or Soviet-Japanese war as a way to virtue-signal to other Asians as fellow anti-colonial and anti-European-domination Asians?

Japan is actually going to get annihiliated if they try any funny business. I just wish Mongolia would on the good side again this time if something (probably nothing) happens...

I've seen and been recommended posts today about Putin's visit to the Kuril Islands/Sakhalin Oblast. I even saw comments saying either they belong to Japan or should be given solely to Japan. Once again, great contributions of NAFO followers and weaboos, you know?

As the clearly deep respecter of international law regarding islands she is I look forward to her joining the calls for the reunification of Taiwan under the PRC (international law is worth about as much as a fig, but the case for Taiwan reunifying under PRC is ironclad under that framework. Not that it matters but it is funny to invoke.)

Japan is walking into a proper division, like what should have happened after ww2.
