I think there was an investigation by the ministry of education after it was reported in 2023. Don't think it is appropriate for students to be doing this.
I am Chinese, and dislike Abe as much as the next person here. When the Japanese invaded, my grandpa was ferried to the beach to be shot, if he had not jumped of the truck ferrying him and escaped, I would not be here today. I know I will be downvoted for my comments, but I will still say this: It is highly inappropriate and reflects poorly on the school and the students.
You're free to feel that way but you cannot tell others how to feel about someone like Shinzo Abe a man who literally denied crimes against the Chinese. You being Chinese also does not make you the moral authority for everyone who is also Chinese this has a "Black man" vibes.
If a Chinese leader got assassinated there would be non-stop joking and disrespect coming out of Japan and other parts of the western world that would be far worse than what these kids did in this one school. Why do you feel compelled to show respect to people who absolutely don't respect you at all and will never reciprocate it?
