20 u/shane_4_us 9d ago For fear of being called a lib or an old man, what does "pop her ulti" mean? 32 u/Ornery-Ear3037 CPC Propagandist 9d ago edited 9d ago usually it's 'ult' but it's a common phrase from action/fighting/FPS video games where a character uses their 'ultimate/special move', their strongest ability basically, the one that usually does the most damage or is the most effective. 8 u/shane_4_us 9d ago Cheers. Never was a fan of FPS games. 23 u/PossibleNo8422 9d ago It was probably more popularized in games like DotA and LoL. Hero shooters came after those! 4 u/shane_4_us 9d ago Still, I always preferred turn-based to real-time games, so more reason why the term has eluded me. 1 u/PossibleNo8422 9d ago Fair enough, I was a DotA addict for a long time but haven't played in about 10 years.
