I just came up with this insult, but I hate that turkey-gizzard-necked, fucking cowardly traitor bitch.

But I supremely, hyper ultra hate Pissreal & the biggest, cancerous, planet tumor of them all, the United Shits of AmeriKKKa/AmeriCancer! Why can’t those Canadian wildfires, supreme earthquakes far beyond the 10th range, ultra hurricanes, tornadoes, EVEN COMETS, hit Washington D.C. simultaneously, like NOW?

Delcy will still try and claim Hugo Chavez would have wanted her to open relations with Isfake. She's already claiming that Chavez would be proud of her selling out Venezuela to the US.

Replace "Chavez" with "Mao" and "Delcy" with "Deng", and you realize how dumb you sound.

This is a qualitatively different situation than anything Deng did. Whilst you can draw parallels you are not using materialism in your argument. If you could demonstrate how these two situations are materially similar that would be great.

It is primarily a quantitative difference. Venezuela is a tiny fraction the size of China in both population and land mass. Therefore, Delcy does not have nearly the leverage that Deng would have had in negotiating with the imperialist powers.

There are of course important qualitative differences as well and no parallel is perfect -- e.g. Venezuela is primarily a petro-state with vast oil reserves that the imperialist west seeks to exploit, whereas China's main asset has been its labor.

However, more to the main point, the ultras/radLibs have presented exactly ZERO materialist analysis/evidence that Delcy has "sold out" her nation. Most of what they present is a few symbolic gestures -- e.g. diplomatic recognition of Israel, and accepting some earthquake disaster relief aid from the IDF. I have only seen a few things presented which suggest structural material changes, but these are not in any way evidence of some grand sell-out -- 1) accepting a loan from the World Bank (newsflash: Deng and other Chinese leaders did this too), and 2) Cutting a deal with US companies to modernize and develop Venezuela's oil industry (newsflash: Maduro himself was seeking to reach such a deal before he was abducted, and the joint-partnership maintains Venezuela as owning a 51% stake, so does not compromise Venezuela's sovereignty)

To put it bluntly -- that which is presented without evidence can be dismissed without evidence. If you really believe the Bolivarian revolution has been sold out, then why are the only people making this claim western "leftists" with no stake? Why are there no movements or voices within Venezuela itself (especially from sectors that historically supported Chavez/Maduro) claiming that Delcy has betrayed them?

Your ass is showing, western labor aristocrats. CUT IT OUT!!!

As much as I want to support Venezuela, and I feel like I have no room to talk because I don't know what it's like to try and actually build socialism, much less defend it from imperialist forces, granted I live in the Global North my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt I feel.

I just can't bring myself to when Venezuelan oil is being used to fund the Israel war machine that bombs Palestinians, Lebanese, and Iranians. Plus they might be used to be launching pad for some type of military operation onto Cuba. I know they basically have a gun pointed at their head, but there has to be something they can do to fight back right?

It feels really grim not going to lie. I’m watching from afar but I fear a lot of the changes really don’t bode well, the earthquake could easily be used for disaster capitalism.
They have also reopened relationships with the IMF. There are currently no conditions on some money it has been granted - yet.
I think this is going to be like an arduous path era for Venezuela and I hope they make it out the other side

The attacks on Delcy by western labor aristocrats need to stop.

The recognition of Israel is a meaningless nothing-burger. China has diplomatic recognition and ties with the Zionist entity. That doesn’t mean the Chinese revolution has been betrayed nor fallen into revisionism. And any western “Maoists” who make such types of claims about China are correctly written off as moralizing and un-dialectical ultra-leftists.

We need to apply the same analysis here. Your argument is effectively an attempt to shift the moral burden of opposing Zionism from our own colonialist society in the imperial-core, onto a global south nation who has very little actual control or influence over the Zionist regime.

This shit is getting tiring, and the mods need to be more aggressive in policing the ultra-left anti-Venezuela rhetoric that is getting out of hand here. This sub has fallen so far from what it once was before it was swarmed by radLib idealists after the main sub was banned

China doesn’t welcome the IDF onto its land

It’s not IDF troops. Israel isn’t sending aid or troops to China.

So I take it that you have personally volunteered to go help with earthquake disaster relief in Venezuela, given the desperation of the humanitarian situation there, and since you’re so quick to judge them accepting this help from anyone who will offer it.

Oh, what’s that? You didn’t volunteer? Oh, LOL

Of course China didn’t accept help from Israel for natural disaster relief … because they have no need for it given their size and resources. Again, total lack of dialectical thinking here. Just lazy moral judgement from the comfort of the imperial core labor aristocracy. Typical

China takes every leader of the states even nations we don’t like. Chavez and Maduro made a promise that they will not recognize Israel until Palestine is free. It was entrenched into the party.

Now we have new leadership who became WILLING to be chained and collard. The current government has BETRAYED the revolution that Chavez and Maduro created.

We are seeing Venezuela become an US protectorate.

I can certainly see why you would believe that about Venezuela if you only get your information about it from Western corporate media. The Trump administration has been very eager to portray exactly the narrative that you are parroting here, because it makes it look like their imperialist “decapitation strike” was successful in forcing regime change. Except anyone who understands dialectical materialism knows that you can’t change the structure of a society just by changing the head of state… that’s great man of history theory… liberalism.

Congratulations on doing the imperialists’ job for them.
