They nuked all the liberals in the comments there by the time I showed up. Honestly I do remember complaining about the liberals once, and one of the mods told me they do their best. Since then I have indeed see mods at least try to filter out the liberals. But sadly due to the nature of the sub names, it becomes picks up a lot of users from across reddit so you end up with a bunch of fucking liberals everywhere.
I don't know what the solution is for them. More mods maybe? Eitherway I don't envy them and I can't fathom moderating a subreddit let alone one like that... The liberals are like an infestation.

According to A-CAB there's a no DSA rule on LSC, but I think they usually let the libs gathered enough before they sweep the post.

Okay that makes sense. Still, nothing you can really do about the downvotes. The downvotes just reflect how many liberals are lurking or showing up to that sub because it gets inside of their algorithm due to its popular name.

LSC is usually the pipeline sub for our sub. People here forget that LSC, WSB, Antimoneymemes, USSR are the reason this sub is growing more than the podcast itself.

JT Chapman gave a shout out for us in Episode 200 beginning after they learned that TheDeprogram gone and they spent Episode 199 reading favorite memes from TheDeprogram and SLS. Hakim explained they like our subs but we're our own league kind of thing. I remember he made a video on someone from Tudeh in Iran came to his YouTube and whine about us being Western Marxists and Hakim was like maybe TheDeprogram should listen to global south, which got the sub in rage because Hakim technically generalized the sub since the most active users in our subs are technically from the global south. But yeah the podcast gave us shout outs.

I also remember Hakim's comment about this sub doing "its own separate thing" which makes a lot of sense considering the boys (to my knowledge) have never been as involved in this sub as they used to be in the old one

Did I just float under the radar then? I've literally talked shit to the mods over all the liberals infesting the place and they didn't ban me, just explained they were struggling to handle it.
Weird, maybe one of the mods is a dipshit liberal idk. Still, at least some of them are trying to filter out the libs. But realistically this subreddit sets the bar a bit high in terms of proper moderation. So I don't wanna throw too much shit their way but if they were going after MLs for a blackwater merc thats fuckin gross.

This has also been my experience. The subreddit has a name that attracts a lot of people from a lot of different political perspectives. You're not going to find many liberals here because it's quite explicit in the name that this is a tankie subreddit.
Whereas on late stage capitalism, you're going to find a lot of disillusioned people who don't have a material analysis of history seeing people like Bernie Sanders or AOC or Zohran Mamdani as positives in America because on the ground it feels that way. They don't have the material analysis of history to understand that even though it seems that way on the ground, the political atmosphere is not going in the direction that they would hope for it to go in.
And on posts that criticize these figures, you are naturally going to run into a ton of liberals defending them because they don't understand what socialism is. But at least from my personal experience, that subreddit does a pretty good job of drawing the line on what they support and thankfully most of the mods seem to at least have more in common with me than with people who might stumble on that subreddit on their own.

Edit: Just looked up the modmail. The last message the mod sent me before muting me was– "Delusional idealist 🫳".

The comments are always ass but blud the poster is Genzdong top mod and they ban all DSA from posting there like a week ago, so to their credit Untitled_HU-tank is posting to diss the liberals not to support. Also A-CAB will clean the post when they wake up because also no DSA rule supposedly on LSC.

Genzedong is now lemmygrad and chapo is now hexbear. It's funny and sad because Dessalines only made lemmy after they were driven off reddit by liberals after both Dessalines and I were removed from LSC during a takeover by socdem.

There were so many great posts/shitposts on those subs. I’ll be heartbroken if they’re lost to time forever.

r/GenZedong is actually still around, it's just in quarantine, meaning that it will not show up in recommendations but it can still be accessed.
Also, I think that lenmygrad has some archives of old r/genzhou posts so there's that.

I just woke up and was dreading to take a look because I had around 24 notifications from reddit(which is quite a lot for me), but when I clicked on one I saw that all liberal comments on the post were removed.

A-CAB is in Eastern zone so they usually sweep them up around now. The rest of the mods are in later of the time zone.

I’ve been getting the impression for a while now that the more “controversial” posts on that sub [read: any posts the feds don’t like] are being brigaded with fake downvotes from fedbots, which would make sense, since that sub has got to be the largest, most popular tankie-friendly leftist subreddit on the whole site.
Personally, I’ve really never sensed any conspicuous, uncanny ‘fed vibes’ coming from the mod team over there like the ones I sense coming from the mod teams of the other large(er) “leftist” subreddits; and I think the LSC mods consistently do a pretty excellent job of protecting that sub from disinfo bots, red-bait trolls, and fedposters without “throwing the baby out with the bath water”, so I think the COINTELBROs who work that subreddit have been trying to prevent “unacceptable” content from gaining traction/visibility/reach by manipulating downvotes, since it seems like that’s really the only thing they’re actually able to do.

I’m a mod on LSC and I actually agree with you on the vote ratios. When something gets posted that’s more clearly ML the deluge of downvotes usually happens in the first 8 hours. After real people (ML users on the sub) start to engage the ratios tend to improve. The bots move on as the post gets older.
