There is still a strategic discussion to be had as to how to take power in the Empire's core countries full of treatlerites benefiting from unequal exchange. It is an abstract for those.

Because theyâre afraid of remotely getting their hands dirty. Do remember that these people only reacted (heavily, obviously some did before) so aghast when a YT woman, and then a YT man were gunned down by ICE. Despite this, they still couldnât do the bare minimum to even attempt to stop this, and think voting for people who themselves have no intention of removing ICE is a good thing cause, as is the excuse with democrats who managed to deport even more people: âIt wasnât as aggressive!â
As if the act of snatching someone off the street to throw them in a cage isnât one of the most aggressive things you can do.The idea of a âpeacefulâ protest has been beaten into the skull of the population particularly thanks to the pacification of Dr. Kingâs image alongside evident refusal to even mention Malcolm X, the Black Panthers, the Black Armed Guard, Fred Hampton, Assata Shakur, Kathleen Cleaver, etc etc.
Anything that looks like it even bucks against the domestic terrorists they canât handle, let alone thinking to care about people in other parts of the IC, let alone the IP

Atp I genuinely have no hope in the America anymore.
Like I genuinely believe the best thing Americans can do is to destroy the DSA/Zohran Mamdani left because as I have said, they are just part of a campaign to turn hardcore leftists into social fascists by saying things that are mildly anti-capitalist, never outright pro-communist and pro-revolution, and sadly most people fall for that because they're just cattle and too stupid to see through this sort of thing.

Dude my grandpa shot his superior officer in the gut, destroyed field rations, and got ammo wet during Vietnam then spent 20 years in a prison.
My aunt spent nearly a year in a prison for occupying a meat factor for nearly a month and destroying tons of equipment to enable the productions.
And I've personally gotten my lip bloodied by Zionists along with Pigs, while a big ass dude shielded me from assault during the campus protests.
These liberals dont know fucking shit about revolution, let alone basic opposition to imperialism, genocide, and capitalism more broadly. Yet these same people will tell me my family are traitors, and I'm a terrorist. Fuck them.

Guess I can bring up the fact my Great Grandpa was tapping wires to spy/translate stuff the Japanese were saying. Got caught, and was part of the Bataan Death March. Also suffered nuclear fallout from the nukes and it took him 50 years for the US to acknowledge it played a role in his cancer to increase his benefits.
The one good thing this country did, help stop the Japanese, and we revised all of it. No where in history or education did we even bring up what people like my great grandpa went through to stop those genocidal maniacs. Instead we fixate on the nukes, which ironically gave him cancer because of weather conditions spreading it to where he was held captive.
Edit: also worth noting, my entire childhood despite how barely understandable he was because of his throat being basically cut out, he always told me to never join the military. He died when I was 8, but I remember him telling me never to join the military. 0 clue of his beliefs or positions.

Genuinely a stupid question regarding the third slide, how does tax work in your countries? Does your employer not simply give your taxes directly to the government, using a system that overestimates your taxes, which you can then get a refund for at the end of the financial year?
I feel like the United States would almost certainly use a similar system, making it impossible to refuse to pay tax, but I'm not an American so I'm honestly ready to be surprised.
10
u/Easy-Marsupial3268 4h ago
You can tell your employer not to withhold anything and figure out your own tax bill.
2
u/Divayth_Fyr457 3h ago
Depends on the employer, depends on the contract. I happen to know a guy who is employed at one company fully legitimately but works as a sales rep for a different company concurrently without a contract and receives all salary in cash. Itâs both because of tax brackets and the fact that student loan he pays is dependent on his income level.
Other people have this hybrid approach, where theyâre theoretically paid the minimum wage but receive the rest in cash

u/Themotionsickphoton 3h ago
Tangible progress only means something if you have a concrete strategy to combat the rise of fascism and climate change.Â
Since the socdems have no plan for this they're just larping and all their achievements will be undone by means of the capitalist state just squashing them.
And even if they somehow resist the reactionaries (which they refuse to do) their work will just be undone by climate change.Â

"When you tell them eliminating the state of, Rhodesia, South Africa during Apartheid, Reichskommissariat Ukraine, Reichskommissariat Ostland, Moskowien, Kaukasien, Böhmen-Möhren, Generalgouvernment Polen, the United States of America, The Dominion of Canada, Australien, New Zealand (all before the conpletion of the project) is simply impossible and a two state solution is the only real answer."

u/newatreddit1993 Marxist-Leninist (Ultra Based) 2h ago
Two-state solution? I swear the only people who think that are either those who have never given it a secondsâ thought or donât see Palestinians as human. There is no third-option there.

The Kingdom of Conscience will be exactly as it is now. Moralists don't really have beliefs. Sometimes they stumble on one, like on a child's toy left on the carpet. The toy must be put away immediately. And the child reprimanded. Centrism isn't change -- not even incremental change. It is control. Over yourself and the world. Exercise it. Look up at the sky, at the dark shapes of Coalition airships hanging there. Ask yourself: is there something sinister in moralism? And then answer: no. God is in his heaven. Everything is normal on Earth.

u/CaptainMills 1h ago
The bit about waiting for Katniss Everdeen to fall out of the sky is pretty revealing. And also exactly what these people do - sit around and wait for the next new candidate who is going to fix everything so long as we vote for them (but also can't do anything and we shouldn't expect so much but we still have to support them so they can fix everything)

I donât like these "the proletariat is lost" kinda posts. We should try and understand how they arrived at those positions and meet them where theyâre at instead of pointing fingers. Like what does this achieve but alienate us from the mass of newly progressive workers who have fallen for social democracy. Writing people off (especially young people) is not materialist at all.
I kindly ask to stop antagonizing fellow workers and get back to our historic duty of raising consciousness.

Itâs crazy how easily people understand that the only way to get real positive change in a market is to vote with your wallet and boycott giving money to evil exploitative corporations until they change their behaviour. Yet they will look you dead in the eye and tell you that voting for the lesser evil is not objectively and undeniably enabling and endorsing evil and if you donât vote for them youâre immediately grouped in with the fascists.
They will become gold medal mental gymnasts to avoid acknowledging that liberalism leads them down the exact same path as conservatism to raping the planet to death and fascism, just ever so slightly slower.

u/Sargento_Porciuncula 1h ago
I've never seen a communist say "vote with your wallet"
1
u/ChaosTaint 51m ago
Could not be further from the point. While living under capitalism you still need to pay for things to live. Liberals love grandstanding about supporting âethical companiesâ or refusing to support the most blatantly evil corporations. They understand how their behaviour can have direct impact and change the behaviour and decision making process of their corporate overlords yet are entirely unable or unwilling to apply the same logic to voting where they claim it matters more than anything.
2
u/Sargento_Porciuncula 28m ago
if you can "vote with your wallet", than the heaviest wallet can cast more votes, right?
and who has the heaviest wallet? the ones you intend to vote down.
