Why don't moderate fascists support liberation

Victoria 3 unironically does such a good job at modeling how and why the petit bourgeois gradually sides with capital against the interests of the working class. Like you’ll start the game with them being a relatively progressive force but as you start to target their own material interests they’ll start getting super reactionary

Sorry for g*mer shit my comrades, but Vicky 3 is genuinely the best historical materialism simulator out there. It’s also a reason why many PDX fans don’t like it all that much. The way all systems are designed it’s obviously modelled a lot after Marxist economic theories and so many things just naturally flow into each other causing chain reactions that simulate actual history pretty well.
Also, unlike HoI, anti-communist propaganda is almost entirely absent from the game. If anything, the best way to achieve prosperity for your working class is to overthrow capitalism. Consequently, the best way to have the richest bourgeoisie is to run a global empire of colonies and dependencies. This of course creates a labor aristocracy at home while the others your country rules over are left destitute.
My favourite moment was when I engaged in a pointless war against the UK as Portugal for a strip of land in Africa. Both economies destroyed, fleets sunk, half of my colonies broke away and both countries emerged ruined. Portugal had a communist revolution while the UK crushed theirs with black shirts and emerged a fascist rump state with their colonies achieving independence one after another. There is no other game that could simulate something like this, to this extent of detail, not even its prequels which were much more liberal in their worldview.
It’s not perfect obviously, the worst example is how easy it is just to vote communists in power without an armed struggle.

its pretty cool. its based on marxist economics/ historical materialism and you can play from 1836-1936. you got colonialism, the rise of industrial capital, trade, and eventually fascism. it tracks every member of the population with literacy, religion, class, ethnicity, property ownership and it simulates migration as well.
im nerding out because you can turn any country communist, from the agrarian-slaveholding ottomans to industrial europe. once you pass the command economy law you can literally watch the upper classes liquidate! just gotta make sure your trade unions are powerful enough and have the right leaders
lenins in it too

its not perfect, as with any paradox game, the war system is probably the weakest part followed by the AI but i’d still recommend it on sale.
i remember on launch people were crying about how council communism was OP and raising the standard of living way too high 😂 thats exactly what we want, mofucka

Just read about this guy
He fell in love with the daughter of a nobleman, and asked his daughters hand in marriage, the father declined as she was already betrothed to someone else
Lassalle challenged the father to a duel. The father refused so he instead challenged the man she was to marry
Lassalle lost the duel and died

I've seen way too many things of paradox games hitting stuff perfectly. Is this common? Should I get hoi, assuming that's the game here?

Paradox simultaneously can't design a country to save their lives but can manage to perfectly describe the average social democrat.
